New Year's Challenge Day 1

Book Blogger New Year's Challenge

Today is the beginning of the Book Blogger New Year's Challenge hosted by Parajunkee.

Day 1 (Blogger Resolutions): My blogger resolutions are to blog more, provide better content, and to connect with other bloggers more. I want to blog more because I feel that some weeks were better than others in 2013. Some weeks I would post pretty much every day and then other weeks I would have maybe one post. I think that I can definitely do better to blog more in 2014.

I also want to provide better content in that I want to give more constructive reviews. I feel as if I already do that but I want to go more in depth with the book to give readers more of a feel for the book than just the surface content. I also want to do more with my blog such as this challenge, the vampire challenge and shifter challenge I have entered. I want to have more things on my blog than just review after review. I already started making some changes by changing the way the blog looks which I think is a big step for me.

In 2014 I want to connect with my fellow bloggers more. I want to leave more comments and talk to other bloggers. I think it would be great to get to know some bloggers beyond the memes and comments and blog tours.

If you would like to follow along here are the topics for each day:

Thank you. Please leave a comment about your own blogger resolutions and Happy New Years!

  1. I agree with better content. My blog has been getting a bit run down and my quality has been falling. Check out my resolutions at http://myviewpointonbooks.blogspot.com/2014/01/book-bloggers-new-years-challenge-day-1.html :)

  2. I didn't think to add better content. My reviews can be flimsy sometimes, but other times I dig deeper. I suppose it also depends on the book. I hope you have a great 2014!

  5. Good luck! I want to work on my content as well. I think I fell into a rut of repeating myself in reviews which is never good....

  7. First off- I love your blog name!!! I also really want to strive to be consistent. And part of that means interacting with my fellow bloggers and holding myself accountable to commenting. Hopefully this year will be a good one for us!

  8. Great resolutions! Last year I was inconsistent with weeks with only one post and then weeks with many posts. That's why I'm going to work on scheduling my posts AND being more organized with my books and posts. I think that will help ME. Maybe it would work a bit with you? Eh, it's an idea...

Good luck and Happy New Year!!!

You're not alone in this. Absolutely agree!

P.S.: what a unique blog name. It made me curious and I went here :).
