Feature & Follow Friday is a weekly event hosted by Parajunkee and Alison Can Read
This week's question/task: Who is your blogger BFF? Tell us a little about him/her. If not, tell us why you need or don't need a blogger BFF.
My Answer: I don't have a blogger BFF. I don't really know many bloggers outside of reading their reviews or posts. This one of the reasons why I want to connect with other bloggers more. I think blogger BFFs are needed because you should always have people that you can share things about what you do. I can't really talk to any of my "real life" friends about blogging because they don't really get it. I also think having a blogger BFF would be fun because as we would meet online we may live in completely different countries and have different experiences.
Please share your FF. Who is your BFF/ why do you need one?
Happy Friday!!! :)
Reading is so much better now that I know I have people to talk to about it. When I moved back to VA from Oklahoma, I didn't have anyone other than the Hubs and my family. I work as a private care nurse assistant, so I didn't even have friends I could make at work. So I started book blogging, got my OK friend Court to do it too, and then I started a book club on Meet Up, where I met real friends who I turned into book bloggers. Then I finally went to bookish events and met other new friends... but it took a long time.

I am so lucky to have the amazing blogger besties in my life that I have, they are more than just bookish buddie's. They're friends and people that are such a fantastic support system and they're so not afraid to call me out when I need it or to tell me the things that I need to hear and may not want to. They making wanting to read and blog about what I read so much more fun, because they're always inspiring me to read outside of my comfort zone or encouraging me when I have a new idea for the blog. It's just a whole lot of fun, I haven't met any of them personally but I have talked to them over the phone, in emails, chats, etc. and have gotten to know them really well. :)
ReplyDeleteI love looking for new blogs to follow and people to meet, so I'm definitely following you.
Happy Reading!

Follow & Feature: Blogging BFF's!
Hopping through. It's fun to get to know bloggers. I think twitter helps with that, although BEA really helps the most - which of course is very hard for a lot of people to do. I don't know if I'll go again this year.

Oh, I agree - my real life friends don't blog, and most of them don't even read very much. They look at me as if I was a little weird (which I totally am!) when I start talking about all the awesome books and blogs out there. I hope you'll find some new blogger friends this year!
ReplyDeleteI'm a new Bloglovin' follower.
Have a fantastic Friday!

I don't really have a blogging bff either, I do have one that I consider a friend and I visit her blog almost every day. I also would like to have some blogger bff's. I am a old follower via bloglovin. :) Have a great day.
ReplyDeleteI don't have a blogger BFF either, but like you, I'm hoping to connect with more bloggers this year (: I wish more of my friends blogged or read as much as I do, but its ok, I still make them listen to my rants about how much I loved a book!

I don't have a blogger bff yet either and I know what you mean about not being able to talk to friends not in the blogging community. Anytime I try they look at me like I have 5 heads and have no interest in learning about blogging :(. They have no idea what they are missing :)
