Teaser Tuesday: Black Hills by Nora Roberts

Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading. Anyone can play along! Just do the following:
• Grab your current read

• Open to a random page

• Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page

• BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)

• Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!

TitleBlack Hills

Author: Nora Roberts

Teaser: "She made herself straighten. Whoever had broken the lock, baited the tiger out of containment would be long gone now."

This is a reread for me. For some reason, I've been ignoring my TBR mount Everest and rereading books that I've read a million times.

Please leave a comment and tell me what you think of this teaser.

And share your own teasers.
Happy Tuesday!

  1. Been a while since I read it, but this was a good book. My teaser: The Moonstone

  2. I used to read a lot of Nora Roberts. I know what you mean about rereads.

Mine this week is at: http://wp.me/pZnGI-aw

    1. I always get caught up in rereading instead of picking up my new books.

  3. Sometimes it's comforting to read a book again. Nora Roberts' stories are always so good that I can see why you'd want to experience them again.
My Tuesday post features BETTER THAN YOUR DREAMS.

    1. I like to reread them just to see what I missed the first or fifth time around :)

  4. I remember this one, it was really cool. I love Nora Roberts! She's always good for a re-read!

    My Teaser.

  5. I know exactly what you mean about rereads. I have at least three series I'd love to reread, but I look at all the books I need to get through and know it's not going to happen soon :(

Great teasers! I haven't read any of Nora Roberts. Must give her books a go. Hope you loved it just as much this time!

    Here's my Teaser.

    1. You definitely should read some Nora Roberts. Her books are amazing.

  6. Oooh, a tiger. Sounds good!

How about a Christmas cozy mystery to help to cool you down during the summer? Here's my latest teaser: http://pdworkman.com/excerpt-from-christmas-carol-murder-teasertuesday-2/
