Why Are You So Skinny? | ChummyChatter (& How it Applies to My Life)

First off I want to say that I do not own this video. This is not mine in any way. This is a blog made by Zoe Sugg, of the YouTube channel Zoella280390 and More Zoella, featuring Louise of SprinkleofGlitter and SprinkleofChatter.

MoreZoella and Sprinkle of Glitter

I know that this is completely different from book reviews and cover reveals and memes but I’m trying to integrate other things into the blog. It won’t be an all the time thing but sometimes I just want to rant about something or let something out, so why not do it here?

Zoe and Louise are two of my favorite YouTubers and I absolutely loved this video when I watched it today. I have always been self conscience about my body and I think Zoe and Louise do an amazing job of talking about the way people judge others. I don’t consider myself to be a large person, in fact I’m actually only 4’9” so in height I am very small. However, sometimes I do get very self conscious about my weight and size.

Buying clothes, pants in particular, is a nightmare for me. First, I have to find pants that are short enough for me. Many stores that I shop at have jeans or pants labeled long, regular, or short. A lot of the time, short jeans are still too long for me. Also, I have to find pants that are proportionate to my height and waist size, and that is not easy some times.

Fortunately for me, I wasn’t really bullied in school that much. There might have been a few comments made here or there but it wasn’t a constant thing. However, I agree with whoever said that words and verbal abuse will be remembered forever. I still remember those comments vividly and I don’t think I will be forgetting them anytime soon. Right now, I’m working on my self confidence and I’m trying to accept myself the way that I am. I’m also working on believing that I don’t need to change for anyone.

I know this blog post is very different from my usual about books but it’s just something I needed to let out. I hope this helped anyone out there that may have their own issues about their bodies and remember:
