DescriptionMia Reeve’s faith, trust and sense of security were all taken away in the blink of an eye.  In need of a fresh start, she settles into a new town and begins to make a new life.
Tristan Chamberlain has always kept girls at arms length and he has no intention of changing. He’s caring, smart, handsome, but he’s also dealing with a lifetime of guilt that’s slowly but surely destroying him.
Sometimes the thing that you run from is the one thing that will save you.
Separately, they’re both free-falling. Together, they’re about to find that love can create the strongest safety net of all.

My Review: Mia has had a rough year. All she wants is to do is to start over in a new town where no one knows about the terrible things that happened to her and her best friend Macy. However, one the very first day of class Tristan Chamberlain asks her for a pen and all hopes of laying low goes straight out the window. As much as Mia tries to deny it, she is attracted to Tristan and can't seem to stay away from him.

The romance and chemistry between Mia and Tristan is undeniable and absolutely amazing. Tristan is a great guy who is also real. He is not a fairy tale hero who is perfect in every way. He definitely has his issues and is a bit of a man whore. He even admits it.

Mia's troubles run deep but for much of the book she does not admit them to Tristan and her new friend Darby. I was appalled at the realization of the events that happened in Mia's home town. Granted they are a little predictable but it is even more devastating to learn of her father's involvement and concealment.

Mia slowly learns to trust Tristan and to let herself love him. She also learns to open up about her problems. Mia and Tristan's lives are more intertwined than they know. The ending of the book took me by surprise. I did not think what took place would happened and I was proud of how Tristan handled the situation.

Darby and Tristan's twin brother, Trace have problems to work also. Trace, Tristan, Darby, and Darby's brother Austin have been friends since childhood and as the boys are all gorgeous, Darby has had no shortage of friends. However, Darby is in need of a real friend who is not just trying to get to the boys. Also, Darby is dealing with her not-so-secret crush on Trace. I think the author's involvement of Trace and Darby in this novel did a great job to lead into the second novel, which I cannot wait for.

TeaserTristan’s lips covered mine gently as he started softly before deepening the kiss.  When we turned to face each other fully, I wrapped my arms around his shoulders and ran my fingers through his hair.  He tasted better than I could ever have imagined, and he kissed me like he had a cheat-sheet for what would make me feel the best.  I’ve never been kissed so passionately, or held as if I really matter to someone.  Tristan cradled me in his arms like I was precious to him.

We pulled apart at the same time a few minutes later, and because he didn’t let me go, I didn’t let him go, either.  We stared at each other in silence for a few moments, and I smiled shyly at him, even as I felt a blush steal across from my face.

He smiled back at me as he continued to stare at me with a look of confusion as the seconds passed before he spoke.  “Holy Hell Mia… You make me feel… I don’t even know.  Different?”
That’s like the pot calling the kettle black. The way I feel around Tristan is entirely new.  “Right back at you,” I said quietly.

Quick Opinion: Overall, I really liked Catch My Fall. I think it is a great novel about love and overcoming a devastating event that might have deterred Mia from ever loving again. However, she is able to rise above it and to meet a great guy who loves her to. I give this novel 5 stakes and I absolutely cannot wait until the next book about Darby and Trace.
